Editable Office documents, such as Word® or Excel® based files, can usually be changed at any time and by anyone, unless they are protected by passwords. Passwords can be forgotten and it is tedious to protect each document accordingly.
The PDF/A file format should be used for archiving in general and for legally compliant archiving in particular. I create easy-to-use concepts for archiving, including automatic backups to a secure cloud storage.
Once archived, documents should be retrieved within seconds. I will be happy to present document search concepts to you.
If data is ever destroyed, it can be quickly restored using appropriate backup concepts.
